Standing in a cute boutique, reading all the fun signs …and coffee mugs!!!

All these things sound FUN and great and delightful. But we had literally just gone through most of the house and decluttered. And I loved the transformation in our home. So, why would I go make or buy things that I didn’t have a place for? Sure, a sign or painting, you can put on your wall. Well, I still have 3 paintings that came off our walls, that I painted in college and I love, tucked under the stairs. I don’t have a tattoo (where is that going?!)…because I would change my mind and not be able to commit. So, I didn’t want to even get another coffee mug (yep, I’m allowed 3 mugs, self imposed) to take up space, because I want all the cute sayings on all the mugs. Same with the signs and the paintings!

True Story…I am a paid artist. I have also created signage for a store, so my work was actually all disposable. It got wiped every month or so. It doesn’t make me cry too much, either.

But I wondered, how could this work? Isn’t there a way I could have all the signs and words without the clutter? And not just pics on my phone?!

So I prayed. I took walks. I listened to podcasts and books. And then, God showed me how it could work. He put the design in my head on one of those walks. He has the best ideas!!!
